Cleans the deepest for Beauty Blenders and Brushes
All my life I was taught to wash my brushes/sponges with baby Shampoo thinking it would cleanse them properly as the most hypoallergenic option…but this was not true! Ecotools knew what they were doing. I am not a super pro at makeup, but my skin gets acne prone when they have not been properly washed. So this one definitely did the difference, by leaving them deeply cleaned and unscented.

I am very pleased with this purchase. This was my first time using a makeup brush shampoo. The product is easy to use.I was really impressed by the way the shampoo seemed to draw the makeup out of the brush. I could literally see the makeup separating from the brush bristles with minimal effort on my part. My brushes have never looked so clean. Even my foundation brush looks brand new. My brushes were not damaged at all and felt normal after drying. There was no sticky residue. A little goes a long way. The price is fantastic for such a quality product.

Works so much better than other products on removing powder products
All but two of my brushes are the It silver handled numbered kind; I built this investment a few years ago based on reviews. I do a quick clean daily with a certain store brand of makeup cleaner made for daily use; thatâs the best Iâve found so far for my brushes and doesnât put them at risk. It would be the weekly cleaning that always fought me. I decided after again reading reviews here to give this a try. Iâm very happy! A few drops on a cleansing pad did the trick. Amazing how well such a small amount of drops works. I watched the buildup work its way down and out the first time. Rinses clean; amazingly no residual color as I wiped dry. Iâm finding the brushes are drying a little bit quicker. I am pleasantly shocked to say the least! Iâll update this post if I discover any issues I find as I use it; this post is based on my initial cleaning process. If all holds true this bottle should last a decent amount of time!*Edited 5/19/2025Works effectively for removing any powder-based products. Iâve discovered that when I tried to use on my larger foundation face brushes which I used to apply a longer lasting Morphe foundation this remover did very little to clean. I am sticking with my Sephora brand daily brush cleaner. I passed this on to our daughter; she uses powder products and is happy with this.

Does what it’s supposed to
Cleans brushes of foundation, blush, contour, etc. great. Doesn’t ruin brushes like some other brands. The brush goes back to being fluffy and soft once dry. Also it’s a great price for the amount of soap you get. This should last me forever. You don’t need much soap, it goes a long way.

My all time favorite brush cleaner!!!
I love this brush cleaner! Itâs the only one I have found that actually works to really get the foundation out of brush and leave it feeling and looking new!! Itâs super easy to use. I just rinse the brush and pour a little drop of this on it and then lather it up and rinse it out. I continue to do this a few times until the water runs clear. The bottle size is great and lasts me forever. It doesnât leave my brush feeling oily or gross either. It is always soft and smooth. I just leave it standing up to dry out and itâs like a brand new brush! I will forever continue to order as long as they sell it. Itâs half the price on here as it is in stores.

Absolutely love this product, quality wise it got all the makeup out of my brushes without any oil residue. Bottle came nice and sealed no leakage a reasonable Size for the price. Easy to use and rinse. Even softened up some of my brushes.

Not as good as other cleaners
I had previously bought the beauty blender brand cleanser and was looking for something a little cheaper and found this stuff. I thought, it’s worth a try. Can it really be that different from the more expensive brand? What I found is that, this works fine for eye shadow and small fluffy brushes, but once you start cleaning your blush and big powder brushes, you’re going to be rewashing them several times to get them clean. And trying to wash a dense and compactly packed foundation brush with this stuff – forget it. The best way I can describe this cleanser is it’s a surface cleaner. The consistency is thin and while it lathers, it just can’t get deep enough into the bristles to clean them completely. It practically gives up on my foundation brush despite there still being loads of foundation packed into the middle. That’s when I bust out what’s left of the beauty blender brand. One wash after three attempts with this stuff and it’s squeaky clean. You just can’t beat it.

Wow! This is the first brush cleanser that I used that dissolves all the make up out in one pass. Every other time I’ve cleaned brushes with regular soap I’d have to swirl and swirl them, rinse and repeat several times. This gets most brushes completely clean in just a few swirls and one rinse. I put a dime-size on a silicone pad, wet the brush, swirl for about 15 seconds then rinse. My most clogged foundation brush took 2 swirls and rinses to get fully clean but overall this works better than anything I’ve ever used. It doesn’t have a scent (or it’s so light that I can’t smell it) and brushes come out perfectly clean and soft with no lingering scent or residue. Will definitely keep buying this for sure.
