Perfectly good dental floss. I don’t know why anyone needs fancier floss.
When I was a kid, I went to a husband/wife dentist and hygienist team who were our neighbors and we trusted them. They made sure to take care of our teeth well, gave us all the fluoride treatments we could get, and very specific flossing instructions that have continued to keep my gums in good shape for like three decades now. First of all, you don’t have to floss EVERY DAY, but you do need to do it thoroughly at least 2 or 3 times a week. Thorough flossing won’t be the most comfortable experience in the world, but it will WORK. You take a good sized piece of floss, wrap around the index fingers of your hands, insert the tight floss between your teeth, and WRAP THE FLOSS AROUND THE ROOT to really dig out all the dirt as you’re doing it. It might bleed a little. That’s ok. If you do this 2-3 times a week, the bleeding should subside and your dentist will be impressed. IMPORTANTLY: YOU DON’T NEED FANCY OR SPECIAL FLOSS TO DO THIS. This big box of cheap mint-flavored floss will do just fine. Don’t waste your money on more expensive floss. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Simple, Affordable, and It Works
This floss is a staple in my house. I buy it regularly because itâs a good price, easy to use, and actually works. My whole family uses itâit slides easily between teeth without shredding and does a great job of getting rid of plaque and food.Itâs minty without being overpowering and doesnât leave that waxy feeling like some other flosses. I also like that itâs PFAS-free. PFAS are synthetic chemicals sometimes used in floss coatings that can build up in the body over time and arenât great for your health, so itâs nice to avoid that.Final Verdict: Affordable, effective, and reliable. If you need floss that gets the job done without the frillsâand without unnecessary chemicalsâthis is it.

Great Floss, Better Than My Usual Brand
Yes I ordered one little dental floss from Amazon. I needed that little « extra » to get the free shipping and I was quite pleased with this item. It was much cheaper than purchasing in the store and I actually will purchased this type of dental floss again! It is thick and the was is substantial so that the floss does not shred, which is a big problem with many other brands.

These floss picks have made my dental routine so much easier! Theyâre super convenient to use, especially when Iâm in a rush or on the go. The floss is strong and doesnât shred, and the pick end is great for removing food stuck between teeth. I also like that they come in a resealable bag for easy storage.
