Customers say
Customers find the electric flosser makes flossing easier and more effective than traditional methods, with teeth feeling deeply clean and improved gum health. The product is easy to use with clear instructions, and customers appreciate its gentle vibration on gums and ergonomic design. While some say it’s built to last, others report the floss breaks easily, and while some consider it worth the price, others find it too costly.

For the first time in my life I floss consistently
After trying countless flossing tools with various string and plastic designs, I’ve finally found the holy grail in the Slate flosser. Not only has it made me floss daily, but it’s also reversed my gum problemsâno more bleeding or signs of gum disease. That’s the kind of result that speaks for itself. What makes it different? Three key features transformed my dental hygiene routine:-Ergonomic Design: The handheld design provides perfect leverage without awkwardly maneuvering your fingers in your mouth. This alone is revolutionary.Smart Technology: The vibration feature isn’t just a gimmickâit noticeably enhances cleaning power between teeth, making traditional flossing feel primitive, like your dog’s toothbrush. Within weeks, my previously sensitive, bleeding gums became healthy and resilient.-Thoughtful Details: For those of us with tight back molars, there’s a genius feature where you can bite down on one side to guide the floss through. It’s these small design touches that make a huge difference. The vertical stand is another intelligent addition, keeping it visible next to my toothbrush as a constant reminder. This visibility has helped make flossing a consistent part of my routine.Yes, it’s pricier than traditional floss or basic flossing tools. However, when I consider the dental bills I’m avoiding and how it’s improvedânot just maintainedâmy gum health, it’s absolutely worth the investment. My dentist has already noticed the improvement, commenting specifically on how my gums have strengthened.Bottom line: If you’ve struggled with gum problems or maintaining a flossing habit, this device will change that. It’s transformed me from a sporadic flosser with bleeding gums to someone with healthy gums who actually looks forward to flossing daily. That alone is worth every penny.

Slate flosser – a journey worth taking
I was excited to see the Slate Electric Flosser on Amazon as I have been wanting to, and recently did, order one for my daughter. First off, I am now a month plus with almost exclusively using the Slate Flosser. I truly enjoy its results. That said, I wanted to share my Slate journey, because it might be helpful to others who could miss this awesome product, like I almost did, due to their initial experiences.I purchased my first flosser directly from the Slate company about a year ago. Admittedly, my first try with it was not fabulous. I have long been a string-floss gal. I found I had the early stages of gum disease when pregnant with my second child (20 years ago). After the time, pain, and expense of getting my gums and teeth back into shape, I have been a flosser ever since. I have tried various floss picks and long-handled flossers, but keep coming back to string floss. So when I tried the Slate, it was going to be an uphill battle to get me to switch. That battle didnât start well. My first attempt was frustrating as it took a lot longer than I expected to stand in front of the mirror and figure out the unit angle required to insert the floss between each tooth. And when I bumped my teeth wrong, the vibration would intensify as the flossing unit hit my teeth and startled me. With all the time it was taking just to insert the floss, I really didnât take the additional time to move the flosser back and forth to allow the gum sweeps to do their job. My zeal waned and I eventually stopped using the flosser.Fast forward eight or so months. I continued to receive occasional emails from Slate with offers and testimonials of people loving the Slate and sharing rave reviews from their dental visits. That, combined with looking at the investment sitting, unused, in the corner of my bathroom counter finally convinced me to give the Slate another shot and stick with it for at least a couple weeks. Initially, I felt the same frustration at how long the process was taking, but noticed that within several days I had built up the muscle memory to efficiently get the floss into the angles of my teeth without having to look in the mirror. I also bumped my teeth with the unit less and less frequently. I started using the gum sweeps and found I really appreciated their function. (The company calls them the secret sauce and I now have to agree.) I even started using the tongue scraper. After a couple weeks, I found that flossing with the Slate was just as fast, if not faster, than with my traditional flossâeven with adding the back and forth motion for the gum sweeps. Plus my gums looked and felt so much healthier. Now, while I do occasionally pull out my string floss, my new first choice is the Slate electric flosser. I recommend giving it a tryâor a retry. Iâm glad I did.

Super- happy. Heads are quite expensive when bought from the manufacturer, but way cheaper than dental work from not flossing.Massages my gums like some buzzy little gum massaging thing. My dentist will be the arbiter of its effectiveness.Iâm happy so far.Would recommend. Not an essential, but a nice convenience.
